View Full Version : Poll: Which type of cake do you prefer?
We are invited to a St Patty's Day party tomorrow night and I volunteered to bring a dessert (what was I thinking )
Sooooo....
Do you prefer a sheet cake or a layer cake?
It is just going to be a box mix and frosting with some green sprinkles and whatnot.

Sheet cake is much easier for cutting.
And I don't feel AS gluttonous eating it as a chuck of layered cake.

sheet cake because it's easier to eat. or maybe because i can eat more and feel like I'm not eating as much.
*I* prefer to eat layer, but yeah, sheet is easier to make.

sheet is better for a big party i would think. if it was more intimate and maybe a birthday cake i would say layer. but st.patty's day-meh-everyone will be drunk and say it's the best cake ever no matter what.

 I know I'm in the minority, but I like cake better than frosting, so I think I prefer to eat a sheet cake. If I could get away with making a cake with no frosting, I would.
Thanks all! I ended up deciding on cupcakes :hide: How could I forget about those? :slow:
But at least now I know what to make everyone for their birthdays
