They look cute. But some of the reviews say that the coating doesn't stick very well.
I might try them anyway. It sounds like it would be fun to do with Aoife.
I remember a few PDubs trying them last year... I think Karen may have? I don't think the caramel stuck well.

I've seen that recipe before, but never tried it. We have a family fall themed party this weekend and they'd be great to take.

I made them last year. We did have a little bit of a problem getting the caramel to stick, but the girls enjoyed it immensely...these are from October 2008. I suspect we needed to dry off the apples a little longer/dab at them more after having dunked them in a little lemon juice.

if you dust the apples with powdered sugar first it makes the caramel stick better. I'm just sayin. :D

Karen, how old was Freya in those?
I can NOT wrap my brain around Charlotte doing anything like this, but Freya looks like she's about C's size.
Yeah Sophia would have all that in her mouth. She is such a little fruit bat.
Powdered sugar huh? Hmmmmm.

Whenever I do food crafts with Aoife, I know she's going to be into all the ingredients, eating everything. I try to remember that the point is to have a fun time, NOT to have a great finished product...although if we do, that's just icing on the cake.
But usually her "artsy" side comes out enough that she actually wants to participate too, and not just eat.

So, a year ago, my little girl did kind of have boyhair. I didn't realize it at the time, but that's as much as it had grown over the course of her entire life!

Isabella would be throwing those bowls all around the table.
