I have an HP P1000. The color ink cartridge has a 78 on it, and the black is 45.

My mom used to buy it in bulk from the local printer and then you get a syringe and just inject it back into the cartridge.. there's a webpage about it.. i'll look.

ETA: Shipping is only 3.95 so they don't rape you there either. I just ordered 2 black and 2 color and the total was $17.95!

Me too but $18 isn't that big of a risk. They have a ton of positive testimonials and their return policy is good. 30 day return with no questions asked. If the cartridge fails within 180 days, they will replace it.

Cinn... that's how I feel. I was supposed go out today and get ink but I got lazy. Glad I did and glad Splenda needed ink too. The shipping is a flat rate of $3.95 so I bought 2 black and 2 color. Now I won't be so paranoid about the cost of ink when my son is printing off pages of instructions and stuff. I can definately handle $4.50 (incl. shipping) per cartridge.

At Staples they have a gig going if you take in your old cartridges you get $3 off, but the price for the ones I need (Epson Stylus C60) is $3.95 *faints* I don't remember what we paid for them, I think I blocked it out - almost $20 each if I'm remembering right. Oooohh! :mad:

Well, I got my ink today. Plugged in both a black and color cartridge, printed a color page and all seems fine. color is accurate, there wasn't any problems loading the cartridge. The invoice in the box was accurate.
