This is GREAT for when you crave chocolate cake!! Dangerous!! But sometimes we JUST NEED Chocolate Cake!!

A RECIPE EVERY GAL SHOULD KNOW
The most dangerous cake recipe
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!
You are going to print this out straight away, aren't you ?

Yum. I used to make an LC version of this with protein powder. Probably not nearly as good

I saw a similar recipe on the Family Fun website. They topped it with marshmallow cream. :D

I used to make the LC version all the time. Given that I don't have sweets much that one would probably taste really decadent to me. :homerdrool:

Especially topped with some real creme fraiche.

Honestly, the ice cream scoop made me drool far more than the cake

The chocolate just settled to the bottom of mine, and it was just kind of a mess, flavor wise. I was soooo looking forward to it and ended up only eating one bite.

And I don't have a problem with microwave cake - I like all cake. :D

Thanks... I don't want to make it and be tempted to eat it if it is going to be nasty.

i cooked one in the oven. It took FOREVER. I should have just made an entire cake. But then I would have eaten an entire cake, you know? It tasted fine to me. Not great, but certainly not awful.

I made one last night. I didn't eat much of it. It's just missing something. I put chocolate chips in it, which sunk to the bottom. That part was good. The cake part was just blah. :dunno:
