Expiration Dates?

Ok, so I have these hot dogs that expired on 10/19. They are still sealed in the package. What will happen if I eat them? Seems like they should be fine with all of the preservatives those things have. :eek: :D

Does it say "sell by" or "use by"? Either way, I'll bet they are fine, but I probably wouldn't eat them.

Which begs the question: "Why do males seem to think that milk goes bad exactly at midnight on the expiration date?" I have had my boys stick their noses up at perfectly good milk a day after the expiration. :rolleyes:
