View Full Version : Wanted: Girl's pants 6-9 month or 9-12 month
Ok, I know this isn't freecycle, but thought I'd give it a whirl. It's gotten colder alot sooner than I expected. I have enough sweatshirts for her, but not enough pants. I need probably 2-3 pair knit/cotton pants.
I don't have much to offer in exchange, but if you want money let me know. I'd pay for postage.
I'll look, although I think most of my girls stuff is gone. You gave me a good excuse to dig through those cute baby clothes!

I know most of my girl stuff from that age is gone, but I might have some nuetral boy pants that could work (black or grey sweats) I could look if you are interested.
Sonny, that would work, too, if you don't mind looking. for both of you.

Okay, I found some of the clothes that I would put on a girl, please feel free to say if you don't want any of these. Sorry the first picture is so big, I tried to resize:dunno: Oh, I also just pulled these out of a storage box, they will look nicer once they are wrinkle free.

Sonny, you are awesome!!!! I would rep you again if I could.
I'd be interested in:
- Any of the jeans... are the waists pretty elastic? I put a pair of jeans on her yesterday (with pink flowers on them.. SOOO cute!) and her daycare took them off because they thought the waist was too tight. It is elastic! Jeans will be great because I have a feeling she's going to try crawling soon and that will protect her knees.
- The knit pants look a bit too dark for my personal taste. Are they all black? I can't tell. One looks like it's dark blue, which is fine, but I'd rather not have black.
- And I LOVE that outfit with Santa on it. That's perfect for her age and the season.

One of the pair of sweatpants are dark blue, the rest are black. The jeans are elasticky...I have never had a problem with them being too tight, too loose yes, but not too tight, not even with any of my daycare kids.
So, you want all the jeans, the dark blue pants and the santa outfit. With the jeans are you including the stripped overalls? What about the green giraffe outfit?
If you pm me your address I can mail them out on Friday when I go to the post office.:)
Let me show them to Rob first re: the overalls and giraffe outfit. Believe it or not, he's kind of anal about what she wears. :dunno:
I don't know why the took issue with the jeans. They said when she sat down they were cutting into her tummy. I thought they fit fine!

Okay...no pressure, I just wanted to make sure I knew what you wanted.;)
I often take pants off of daycare kids because they are slipping off while they crawl around, I have never noticed any to be too tight. If the clothes I send don't fit, you can pass them on to someone else, they are just taking up space around here.:)

Dar-- I found a few actual girl clothes!! These are all in the 6 to 12 month size, but I am not sure of the size of the stripped pants, they are Gymboree and say size small, back when their sizing was Layette/Newborn/Infant etc. so they may be big...I know that the one outfit is black, so you may not want it, but I thought I would show it to you anyway. Again, these have all been packed in a box for a long time, so they are a little wrinkly.

This outfit has a matching coat, but that may be a little warm for Florida

I know you said you were fine with shirts, but these are all so cute, I thought you still might like them.:)

Those are cute! The yellow pants look small, though. The blue outfit and striped pants are exactly what I'm looking for. I do have plenty of shirts/onesies. I had to return a bunch because I had so many (honestly, who needs 30 onesies? ;) )
That black outfit is cute, but I'm learning with her that she is very long in the torso (just like her daddy), so one piece outfits she grows out of quickly.
That outfit with the coat is adorable, but I wouldn't need the coat and that outfit should stay together.
I'm e-mailing links of all the pictures to Rob. He should be home in an hour or so and I can let you know what he thinks, too. He doesn't trust my fashion sense... I don't blame him! :D
(I hope I haven't taken up your whole morning!)

I have a winter coat that is 6-12 month size. It's baby gap, light blue with fur around the edge. Practically brand new. I'll take a pic when I get back from getting Annie.

Rebecca, thank you for the offer! Actually, you posting that reminded me that we need a coat for when we go home at Christmas. But we (talked to Rob, showed him the pics) like the coat with the outfit Sonny posted. Thank you again, though!!!! Perhaps someone else could use it (kerowyn/Mandy?).
Sonny, sending you a PM.

Okay, I know the picture is huge, but I'm leaving it so you can see what I've got:
A pair of pink Class Club overalls size 9m
A short-sleeved long-pants Little Me onepiece size 9m (this is pretty well-worn but still decent for daycare.)
A long sleeved new-with-tages McKids outfit size 6-9 m
A short-sleeved long-pants McKids onepiece size 6-9 m
A swing top and leggings set by All Mine size 6-9 m
*I also have 2 pairs of cute footed pajamas in this box if you are interested.

Natale, those are all adorable!! I remember you had offered clothes before, and I honestly thought I was more than covered. Then the cool weather hit and I forgot how cold it can get.
A pair of pink Class Club overalls size 9m ~ She has a couple pairs of overalls already. Anything that is "one piece" does not quite fit her right or I have to go to a larger size (then it's too "full") because she's long in the torso.
A short-sleeved long-pants Little Me onepiece size 9m (this is pretty well-worn but still decent for daycare.) ~ See above Re: "one piece"
A long sleeved new-with-tages McKids outfit size 6-9 m ~ Which one is that?
A short-sleeved long-pants McKids onepiece size 6-9 m ~ Again, one piece
A swing top and leggings set by All Mine size 6-9 m ~ Which one is that?
*I also have 2 pairs of cute footed pajamas in this box if you are interested. ~ Same problem, one piece. I'm going to put her in 12 mo. pj's soon, I think.
Aw, Nat, you rock, too!!!

It's entirely possible the pj's are 12 month size - remember I have a tall-and-skinny too. I recall I bought a size up for pj's, so the pj's in this box are probably 12 month size.
The outfits are left to right, so the new-with-tags outfit is the one in the center with yellow pants. The pattern on the top is princess teddy bears and little castles.
The swing top and leggings is on the far right - pink top with hearts and red and pink hearts on the pants. The pants for this outfit look much shorter than the yellow pants, but they were long pants when we wore them. :dunno:
You want them? :D
You want them? :D
Yes, please! Ok, I came in asking for a just a few pair of pants and look what I get... why are baby clothes addicting?

I really love you all of you guys. Not just , we're talking love here. ;)
I looked, only a few things left in those little sizes, all VERY boy with lots of firetrucks and tractors.
Thanks for looking, Kate! It's so frustrating that anything like that is all for boys... Anything with puppies, too.
I know--girls like puppies too! But nope, girl clothes has kittens and boy clothes has puppies.
