I saw this yesterday. It was an amazing movie. It follows Truman Capote as he researches and writes In Cold Blood. Philip Seymour Hoffman was absolutely amazing as Capote and I will be very upset with the Academy if they don't at least give him a nomination, if not the award for Best Actor. His performance was so incredibly nuanced and he was so completely into character that you forget that it was an actor on the screen and not Truman Capote himself. It's not the feel good movie of the year, but it is incredibly well acted and the writing was wonderful as well.
