View Full Version : Shells
:indiff:
I feel like I have a million.
Does anyone want some? I'll send them to you.
Otherwise, I have NO idea what to do with them. I have some in a jar just sitting up on top of my cabinets. The rest are in a grocery bag.
I can't think of anything I'd do with them either, except let them sit around somewhere and collect dust
I'm sure someone with creativity will be by.

Next time you take a trip to a non-coastline state take them with you and cache them in a playground :D
Imagine little land-locked kids finding them

send some to me with the clothes!
I need some and really didn't want to buy any.
Freya's bathroom will have a girly nautical theme, and since we have the giant standard bathroom mirror, I want to take a white frame (11x13) and insert a mirror. Glue shells to frame. Then suspend this mirror in front of the giant mirror with picture wire hidden by a long ribbon with bow. just to break up that giant expanse of mirror.
would be greatly appreciated!!:)
The title of this thread has me craving cheesy pasta.
That is all.

I thought this was going to be about a trip to a restaurant!
No thanks, from me too... we have plenty (think too much) of our own.

I had the same problem a few years ago. I turned some of them into a mosasic for outside and glued some to the glass of a photoframe and glued sand inbetween.
This isn't a great pic of it, but you get the idea.

I have the ones we collected in a vase, with some sand, and a bobblehead turtle in the office.
As a side note, if you ever want to bring sand back from the beach, don't put it in a water bottle, and then in your carry on. The airport doesn't like that.
