colors look kind of weird on this monitor. DH uses weird color schemes and he locked me out of them. some posted things look really diffferent to me. others look normal.
i have no idea what is going on.
Those all came out really good. I did some way back when I was a teenager and it looked like such crap. How did you do it?
How did I do which ones?
Brandon used rubber bands on the ones that aren't spiral. (t-shirts) I dip dyed the brown/green onesie. Rubber banded the other ones that aren't spiral. For the spiral, I put it flat, took a clothespin in the middle and just twisted it up in a spiral. Then, tied string around it in 3 places, and dyed it.
The spiral. That was the effect I was going for but I am sure I did not use clothes pins. I REALLY love that first shirt.
You only use the clothespin to grab it and twist it. Then you tie around it to hold it.
To be honest, I was very surprised that it worked.

You're so crafty! LOVE the Onesies.
I love tie-dye!
If you still have the dye, try dying pairs of his little socks to match the onesies.
When I worked as a leader at a Park and Rec Summer program we would tie-dye t-shirts one of the first days each two week session....60 kids, so that they would have matching t-shirts to wear on our field trips. I did this again when I was teaching so that my class would have t-shirts to wear on our class trips. So easy to keep track of the group and great for kids to help them to follow the group of tie-dyed shirts!
i didn't think of socks. duh. i was wondering what else i could dye. lol
That looks great Lisa!!!
Jerry would be so impressed.

Awesome!
What dye do you use, Lisa?
i didn't think of socks. duh. i was wondering what else i could dye. lol
Little cotton pants to go over the onesies.
If your next one is a girl :right:, you could dye hair thingies or cotton sneakers, like Keds to match her tie-dyed shirt or socks. Just toss them in one of the colors that used for the tie-dying so they coordinate with the outfit.
You could tie-dye cotton diapers. (We used disposables, but had the cotton diapers for burp rags.)
What dye do you use, Lisa?
RIT. We did it on the stove.
