Ghetto way to wind yarn.

Ok. The goal was a gradient green. I started this way. I was going to just add a little at a time, leaving the end off white.

Then, I second guessed myself and reveresd the way I was going to do it. So, I tossed all the yarn in, and took out what was already in there. I don't know why.

So, it is a gradient green, just not the way I was wanting. It is too subtle. Maybe when it is wound you will be able to see the variations more. :dunno:

The last picture is the lightest and darkest next to each other.

In the shadows outside of course. :rolleyes:

I like it! I agree though, I didn't get enough varigation in the colors in mine either.

Can you dye after it's already been dyed? what if you took an area in the dark green & did it black/green? then you'd have 3. :dunno:

It look great, Kermit would approve :D
