What color of Cushings Perfection dyes did you buy for brown?

I believe I bought Brown and Seal Brown. But I can check for sure when I get home.

ok, that would be great. I think that seal brown is pretty on his color card.

Sooo, I just have to ask, what is bringing you to the acid dyes? Just wanting to get a better brown?

yes, it's my favorie color. Plus, i am sorta bored with KA right now.

I promise you, they weren't any different than using KA stove top method :run:.

When you did stove top, was your yarn dripping wet from the soak? I am still trying to come up with why the brown ran so much into the other colors. I usually remove mine from the soak and let most of the water fall out of it, so that it is damp, but not majorly dripping.

it wasn't dripping wet. I think I needed a bigger pot and taller bowls to hold the yarn that was already done. I think it was going a bit downhill from the pan, if that makes sense. Oh, I added pics to the other thread w/my overdye results.
