My son and I were watching Unwrapped last night and they started talking about Easy Bake Ovens. They showed the Easy Bake cook off for kids and the different style of ovens.

There were men and women, professional chefs who were showing off their easy bake recipes, and said they owed their profession to Easy Bake ovens.

He was really excited and then they introduced the ones for boys...kind of the grossology version.

Whooo - he was over the top. He loves to cook with me. And to have a BOY cooking thing was totally cool! Dirt cake with worms and dog bones with fizzy gel dip.

Did anyone see this? Does anyone really know how to sourse the mixes? They never seem to be in stock... Have you seen good sales? I am planning Christmas.

Never heard of those. But I'm pretty sure those Easy Bake Oven cakes were the beginning of my spiral into obesity. :pissed:

I've seen the Grossology ovens, but not the show. Is Santa bringing A an Easy Bake for Boys?

I'll bet you could google up a million recipes for easy bake instead of buying the mixes...a little food color, ground up oreos, and gummy worms and you're in bidness!

My mom couldn't find them for the grandchildren (boys). Her solution....wrap them up and give them as gifts to the MOMS  I got an EBO for christmas last year. :p

3 is pretty young. You would be doing almost everything-- if you are ok with making it a "mommy and me" activity.

Manda could do it on her own at 6-7.
