Can it be done? :indiff:

I'd rather make a cookie or brownie and decorate it myself, than buy from the store. Just something simple like "Congratulations" or something like that. But I can't write worth a damn and my cursive is atrocious. I'm always disappointed when I try to decorate.

Would it be better if I went to the party supply store and tried to find a plastic plaque or something I could just put on it instead? Do they make such a thing? I really don't want to spend $15 just for a cookie from the grocery store, you know?

How about you just don't write anything on it? Just decorate it with flowers or whatever. :dunno:

I would just go to Party City. I'm sure they have icing letters...

I saw this http://www.partycity.com/cgi-bin/parties/bakeware.cgi?name=Graduation%20Icing%20Decorations&parties=Products&productstype=Icing&products=116094&zoom=1&start=&originaltype=

Awesome, Alie. I was hoping they might have something like that.

I guess I could have tried their website first.

 I know. I'll have to resist the urge to buy decorations when I go. Rob hates party decorations. :nono:

I just like to entertain. I like the matching plates, napkins, cups :)

I know. I get a lot of grief about it from Dave's side of the family. I just seems like a waste of money. :hide: I mean, you just take them down and throw them away. :dunno:

Throw them away? You mean you're not supposed to keep them indefinitely in a "box of things you don't know what to do with?"

My handwriting is nearly illegible, blockish letters. Just ask my co-workers. But I wrote beautifully on cakes. :dunno:

Flip a cake pan upside down and practice your writing on the bottom. Also the bag and tip for writing should be small; it's easier to maneuver and looks much nicer that way.

I would hold the bag in my right hand and guide the tip with fingertips of my left hand.

Well, I officially suck. But that didn't affect the taste.

Get a bag of gum drops or m$m's and spell out congratulations on the top of the cake in candy. Easy and looks great.
