Can anyone resize Tiiiiiiiiny pics?

I have a couple of pics someone sent to me but they are tiny. I tried to resize but then they blurred out. Anyone know if it can be done?

the pixels only allow for so much enlargement before they look like something under cloudy water. there is only so much resolution to go around.

If they are tiny to begin with, it is hard to stretch them bigger without blurring them.

Can you get the originals?
