I have a pork roast that I want to put in the crock pot with some carrots, onions and maybe potaotes for the kids. This is going to sound just too crazy but does it matter if I cook the potatoes with the roast, I mean I am not going to eat them since I am on plan. But doofus is arguing with me about cooking them with the roast.:getyou: Someone please re-assure me that it does not matter

* I am not really here. I am just popping in while cleaning and stuff*:D
Is he implying that you'll eat carbs without actually eating the potatoes?

I always put them in there. In fact I have a beef roast in the crock pot today with potatoes, carrots, onions etc. I just eat what I want. I think they taste better when cooked altogether no?

Yep he thinks if I cook them with the roast that we will be getting some carbs from them.
Well, if any starches were to be passed on to the juice and other veggies, I'm sure it's minimal.
Of course, I have no scientific evidence to back up that theory. :D
