That bread recipe you posted a while back...have you ever made rolls with it? My bf eats a roll for breakfast every morning (just a kaiser or ww one, like you could slice and make a sandwich with) and I was thinking about trying to make him some. Any ideas?
Not Kate and I know nothing about making rolls! Sorry!
I had to post and tell you that you look so happy in your avi! I'm happy for you!

I don't see why you couldn't. Most of the stuff you buy in the bakery is all made out of the same dough.
If I remember correctly you'd have to rise it twice.. once before you formed it into rolls and once after.. and you'd probably bake about 10 minutes or so? /former baker-caker
:agree:
I haven't used it but Janis is right.

I think I'll try that. :D
Just to confirm: if I want to freeze some, I do that after I shape them into loaves (or rolls) before the second rise?
:agree:
At least that is what I was told to do. When it thaws, that is the second rise.

Cool. I think I am going to do rolls, and freeze them individually on a baking sheet, then put them in a ziploc in the freezer. Then we can make as many as we want, since there's just the 2 of us.

These came out great! I made 20 balls of dough, then put 15 of them in the freezer. The remaining 5 I put on a parchment-lined baking sheet and snipped an X into the top of them with scissors. Then I let them do the second rise. Baked them at 425 for 5 min and 350 for 7 more, and they're perfect. :D
