Anyone have a good recipe? :)
Last time I made them I was not impressed, and I can't bring myself to serve Betty Crocker on Christmas (even though that's what I like).

hmmm, unless someone has a better idea, I think I'm going to try this one: http://www.recipezaar.com/29286
I'm intrigued by the parmesan and cayenne. Besides, if someone named Stacey DiBuono likes it, it has to be good right?

I think those look delicious.
I think so too. Even though normally I'm hesitant to cook anything without an endorsement from Lisa and KarenNOTWAB, I think I'm going to go for it.
Dinner is at 1:00. I know you can't make it but it would be fun if you could.

*sigh*
I'd rather be at your house, than my moms.
One day, I'm actually going to show up on a holiday - then you're going to have to explain me to your family. :D

I don't really follow a recipe when I make them. Mine always have onion, a teeny bit of dry mustard powder and a dash of cayenne powder. And lots and lots of cheese.
But you know, that doesn't go with ham. :indiff:

What kind of potatoes do you use? Gold? Brown? Red?

Yukon Gold usually, but any kind will work. Gold just usually have more of a buttery flavor.

Good, that's what I was going for. I like the texture of yukon gold.
*still pretending not to see the part about "doesn't go with ham"*
