b/c once the box was purchased, my Tivo only costs 4.95 a month. That's one lunch at Wendy's.

You forgot that he works from home. Switch that to thinking of Mr. Splenda in his home office eating the lunch his wife planned for him rather than getting in the car and driving to Wendy's and getting something.

I do get season passes for most stuff, then there ends up being something else that I really want, so I decide to not record the season pass program for the night, and then I forget to watch it while I'm TiVoing something else.
