When you are not home? I was going to make cabbage rolls, but I just read they need to be in the oven for 2 hours. I have to go pick up Sophia from schoo, run to Michaelsl and run to the grocery store for milk. I swear, I am having problems these days!:getyou:
Do you leave the oven on when you leave? Usually we don't unless we are just running to pick up/drop off the kids at school.
Never had a reason to. :dunno:
Occasionally. I do have a timer that will turn the oven off when it's done.

Yes, I've done it as long as it's just a quick errand.

I am home, all is safe. I kind of freaked out when I saw a fire truck behind me two blocks back, but it turned. Yea! Nothing is burnt and my house is still standing! It did take me 1.5 hours to go pick sophia up and run to safeway though!
Oh man....its so funny you say that about the fire truck! One time in my life I left the oven on in my apartment and took the bus into town to get something. I'm riding the bus back up to my place and everyone is freaking out about a fire up on the hill where I lived. I was sweating and freaking out! As soon as I got off the bus I RAN to my place...the fire was only a block from me! I've never taken the chance again
