Anyone planning on seeing this?
I'd never heard of him till I saw the previews.

I didn't like him as Alie G - I doubt if I'll like him as Borat. :dunno:

It doesn't look that funny to me. I will wait for DVD.
uhhh...no. I'd never heard of that guy until Saturday Night Live last week. He was gross.

nope, he was funny as Ali G years ago then he got somewhat famous in the UK and got unfunny.

Did he used to be popular or something? I'm wondering how you knew who he was, and the first time I saw him was last week. I have no idea who Ali G is either. I'm feeling clueless here.

he was an extra sketch on a uk tv show about 7-8yrs ago, then he got his own show..that's why I know who he is.

I might, although I was somewhat disappointed with his performance in Talladega Nights, and was never a fan of the Ali G Show.

Wow.... I didn't know it was the same guy! I am soo not a fan of Ali G.... but I saw the previews for Borat and I am going to see it... I might wait until it hits my $1 theater, but it looks funny....
Rob can't wait to see it, he really likes him. Me, not so much.
I don't get it. He doesn't seem funny to me.
I dont think Ali G was funny but I want to see this. I've been seeing the trailers for a few months now and it looks really funny.

I want to go. I thought he was hilarious in Talladega Nights, so I'll probably like this too.

I haven't even seen Talladega Nights. Maybe that's why I'm clueless as to who he is.
I saw it yesterday.
Its really funny but lots of cringing and uncomfortable moments.
I could handle a few minutes but not a whole movie. He did an interview with Matt Lauer and he's worse than Robin Williams. LOUD and obnoxious.
I rarely see a comedy, because my idea of funny differs so much from other people's /snooty.

I saw it opening weekend. It was hilarious. I am however, a real South Park fan.
