Rob and I were going to pay someone to make our programs. In the end she wanted $2 a program. I think it was a lot, so I took what showed us and came up with an almost identical match. My problem now is I want a satin ribbon to bind the 2 pages together. I tried using a hole puncher, but it doesn't look nice. Any one have ideas? I can post a pic of the program if that would help.

you could try putting the ribbon through a hole punch with a decorative puncher... or thread it through with a craft needle.

Did you use a little hole puncher or a regular-sized one? I'd love to see a picture of the program.
Did the other girl use a satin ribbon and you just can't make it look the same, or are you adding that?
I think they have decorative ones for scrapbooking.

you could also cut a small slit in the paper with an exacto knife, i have done that before with some stuff

I have the knife, hmm maybe that will work! I am not into the whole hole punch thing.

I will be changing the paper to a champagne card stock. I want to put the satin ribbon on the side to hold the 2 pages together.

Could you just tie the ribbon around the two pages with the bow on the outside and not punch a hole at all?

That was my thought. The programs are lovely, Colleen.
Now I get what you are saying. I was thinking something else. that they were being attached together at the top.
I would try a thin ribbon all along the spine and tied in the back. If that doesn't work to your liking, then do 2 slits with a razor knife and thread them that way.
