anyone ever use one?

I always give up on knitting projects because I hate counting stitches and I end up making a mess of things.

I have the round set of these. Have I ever finished a project on them? No. Did I get them last year for Christmas? Yes. They are super cool though. I need to get my projects out and finish them.

the round ones look cool too :)

I can knit with needles but hate it. I lose track of stitches and drop stitches - this time I didn't and it has a great pattern

here it is so far:

Homespun? That's my all time favorite yarn. I love the shading of the colors.

They do. And a cream color.

And lots of other colors.

You said baby blanket, right? (I could go read, duh)

They also make Homespun Baby.

oooh I LOVE the cream color!!

she's having a boy and I didn't want to do blue - she's already getting bombarded with blue stuff

I was thinking about doing a 4" or so border around it - I wonder if black would be too much for a baby? I think it would look cool ;) I'll probably do navy blue.

thanks for the links!

So if someone tried to teach themself to knit, with needles, and kind of failed - would this contraption be easier???

Have you been to www.knittinghelp.com?

Pretty cool site. Videos of how to do the stitches, etc.

And I think black would be awesome.
