While I like this show, I do not love it. I just watched the first episode of the 2nd season and have to say the new storyline is very daytime soap out there for my taste. I really hope they don't get too out there.

Fred is obsessed.

I wanted to watch my NBC Dramas and I am watching farking Desperate Housewives and the Martha Stewart Movie.

Do i have a tv in my bedroom? Yes. But. I want to be with him, so I watch this crap while surfing the net and sitting next to him.

Next Sunday, it's dramas for me!

Yeah, 'cause all the other stuff that's happened has been so realistic up until the basement person?

It's my favorite show and the only non-reality show that I watch. I love the colors and the campiness and the melodrama. I think it's going to be fun to see Lynnette in her element finally. I hope they don't ruin Bree with a bunch of mourning and legal problems. She is my hero.

I loved the scene with Bree, the mother-in-law and the minister planning the funeral. And Bree changing Rex's tie at the funeral...priceless.

Ok, the person locked in the basement thing....just plain creepy, but I'm dying to find out who it is.

We know that the son lied and said his dad is dead, so it's got to be the dad, right? But why?

That was my initial thought, but something in me just says it's too obvious, but it's Desperate Housewives--anything's possible.

Good point, plus it would be odd to put a flower on a man's tray. hmmmmm

Now I'm thinking it might be the grandmother, since she was mentioned in the episode.

Grandmother?? Who's grandmother??

I thought it was good. I'll always think it's good.

I'm with Splenda, this is like one of the only shows I watch.

When Betty was playing the piano near the end and the son comes in with the tray, she mentions that it was a hymn his grandmother liked. And then I thought well a rose would be well suited for a woman's tray.

Narong thought the mum and son were too close, I wasn't in the room so missed it, apparently she was very loving to him.

I thought that too Chrissy.

I was waiting for them to engage in a lip lock or something.

And regarding the Grandma thing - weren't those a white person's hands?? I guess I just didn't get that whole scenario right. I DVR'd it so I'll go back and check.

Did they ever say what happened when Mike brought Paul out to shoot him...but he didn't . Where is Paul now.

(hoping I have the names right) lol

He said last night he couldn't bring himself to shoot him - so maybe he let him go? Which means he'll be back, and madder and crazier than ever?

I agree with Narong--they just seem creepy together. The first thing that popped into my head, and I know this isn't the case, but I thought they were married and just covering it up.
