View Full Version : You know the drill. What's for Dinner? 6/6
We are having chicken marinated/basted in this Lawry's Aussie Grill sauce stuff.
Smells like a kicked up [/Emeril] BBQ sauce. With pineapple. And probably steamed broccolli and cauliflower.
You?
Steak on the barbie :eat: with either Montreal Seasoning or Emeril's Steak Rub
Sauteed shrooms (oh, crap! we're out of sherry!)
Salad

I had some red potatoes in my fridge from last week's box. I cut them up and put them in a pan I had melted some butter in. I put the pan in the oven at 475. I went out to my garden and got some rosemary. I cut it up and put it in the pan. I stirred the potatoes every few minutes until they were done.
I salted them.
They were goooooooooooooooooooood.
And no comments from my kids that all we had was potatoes for dinner. :D
Potatoes. Just potatoes sound good to me.
I don't know if I was that hungry, or if dinner was that good, but :eat:
That Lawry's stuff rawks. I served mine over brown rice. YUM!

The best dinner I ever ate was when I was just barely preggo with Megan (but didn't know it). We were up north visiting Dave while he was working. I had a portobello mushroom sandwich and a beer. I occasionally dream about enjoying a dinner that much again.
