My mother made Carbonara all the freaking time. I grew to loathe it (even though I like noodles, bacon, mushrooms and parmasean cheese!) Glad you found a good substitute.
Dinner tonight will be leftovers. Boo.

We are having fresh baked bread, baked chicken leg quarters, roasted potatos and tomato/avocado salad.
Most likely soup. But I really have some stirfry stuff I need to use before it goes bad.
Leftover pot roast and carrots with butter. Perhaps some cottage cheese on the side.

Damnation.
I think I'm one ingredient short of everything that sounds good. Except salmon patties, which sound REALLY good, and I have everything for - but Jason wants something LC.

Are the salmon patties pre-made?
if not, chop up some celery and onion, bind together with an egg, dust in munched up pigskins or LC bread crumbs (or leave those out completely), fry each side in butter and blamo - salmon patties.
Cream Cheese Chicken, Broccoli, and homemade bread.

No, but I bought bread crumbs *just* for them. :D
I guess I'll do the porkrinds thing, though, tomorrow. I found out I do actually have the last ingredient for one of the recipes... I just didn't look in the right place. If I had, I'd have seen that I have not one, not two, but THREE ranch dressing mix packets.
Brautwust, meat-less crackslaw, onion rings
I was gonna have potstickers but... I didn't order them and now ti's too late.

FYI: Susan's chicken/artichoke recipe is doog.
I don't think Jason stopped to breathe.
Good to know Ali.
I have the stuff to make that. I think.
Crap. I am out of chicken.
How does one have artichokes and not chicken.

Lisa - I made plenty. You can come eat mine, but I may lock you up in my house and not let you out. Is that a risk you're willing to take?
You don't want to keep me.
I am messy.

We have Jason to clean up. As soon as he's done weed eating. :D
Sweet. I always wanted a man slave.

I gotta warn you, though. He recently discovered this whole "internet message board" phenomenon and now I totally have to do more stuff.
Does he have his own log in for the computer? If not, we will create one. Then restrict him.
