What's the trick for desalting a dish?
Worst case scenario, I can drain some of the liquid out of the soup and replace with more chicken broth.

:nono: unless it's homemade chicken broth, the canned is usually REALLY REALLY salty. You got any other fresh or unsalted veggies you can throw in, maybe a can of tomatoes to cut down? I'd drain off liquid (keep it!) & then add back fresh but it will dilute the taste unfortunately :(
Definately potatoes!

I think I didn't stir it well.
We had it for dinner and it was very tasty. And pretty spicey (I dumped in a can of diced jalapenos).
Crisis averted! :D
I wish I would have had jalapenos.

I try to keep the cans of diced ones in my pantry, so I can throw them in scrambled eggs and stuff. I'll use a little and then put the rest of the can into one of those teensy gladware things, and stick it in the fridge.

Jason thinks I made it too hot, though. He was sweating. But he likes it. :D
Do you think you can taste the garlic through the sauce?
I could taste it a little.
I usually keep a can also. But see, we are trying to use up almost everything we have before we go back to the store. Not my idea.
