Anyone have a good way to make them at home?

We mix three parts sauce, one part melted butter - brush over wings, bake at 375 for 30-45 mins, turn over a couple of times, rebrush more sauce over them... not an exact science. Then kick it up to broil for the last little bit to get them crispy.
I still haven't found a sauce that I can call my favorite.
You might want to start here. (http://www.copykat.com/asp/copykatrecipe.asp?recipe=1010)
Mmmmm. Hooters.
What do you mix up for your sauce? Just butter and hot sauce?
I use butter and hotsauce.

Get some chickens.
Get some chickens.
I'll get your chicken Little Miss Sassypants.
I saw Hooter's brand sauce at Walmart yesterday. :dunno: I don't like homemade wings. Or really any chicken with bones or veins. :nono:

I am not big on homemade ones either. I like them deep fried.
But, I have a bag of wings that need to be used.

I :hbeat: copykat.com!!
I actually bake my wings. They come out pretty good still.
I didn't like the Hooters sauce you buy at the store. There was a sauce we liked.. Emeril's, I think?
I dunno.. I say just do herion wings. :dunno:
We did heroin wings once. They were pretty ok.
It is the soggy skin and stuff that makes them yucky.

I use butter and hotsauce.
That's the real way I believe.
I deep fry the plain wings then shake them in a plastic bowl (with a lid) that has butter, Lousiana Hot sauce and tabasco in it. Don't melt the butter-just put the stick or half a stick in the bowl.
