Well, I live south of Kansas City (home of the original Lamar's) and OMG - don't start eating them because you'll never stop! Oh, you might make it a point to not try the chocolate covered creme filled long johns (they should call them "extra long" johns!) My husband works close to where the original little hole in the wall store was and he used to bring them to the office and then bring the leftovers home. OMG - I can't even describe how good these things are - puts Krispy Kreme to shame.
