TURKEY SPINACH BALLS 1 1/2 lbs. ground turkey
1 lg. onion, grated
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 egg white
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. cranberry sauce
1/2 c. chicken broth
Combine turkey, onion, drained spinach, egg whites, garlic powder, salt, pepper. Mix well and form into small balls. Place in a heavy saucepan.Combine remaining ingredients, mix with a fork to break cranberry sauce. Pour over turkey balls. Cover tightly and cook over low heat 45 minutes. Good with rice. Serves 6.
I will be using Kale, and omitting the last 3 ingredients
