Doh! I left 4 of them out on the counter overnight. Think they might still be okay to eat since they are cooked? :dunno:

I would eat them. I'm pretty sure I have done this in the past and lived to tell about it.

When my mom was in Germany for her cancer treatment they would have hb'd eggs once a week for breakfast. The guy that sat at her table loved them so much that he would take at least 4 of them to eat during the week and he just kept them in his room. :dunno: I thought it was kinda weird, but they didn't make him sick. :dunno:

You know, I think I saw this somewhere. Like in Britain, maybe, that they leave their eggs unrefrigerated. :dunno:

Keeping Hard Boiled Eggs
You can keep hard boiled eggs, unrefrigerated, for only 2 hours. Hard-boiled eggs can be kept safely in the refrigerator for just up to one week. (Eggs have a protective film that dissolves in hot water so that once boiled they have a shorter shelf life than raw eggs.)
One theory... I'd be afraid to eat them after more than a couple of hours.

Whoops! MommyMo, I just saw your post. I had one egg with my spinach salad. I'll let you all know if I get sick. :(

Well, I survived that one hard boiled egg and lived to tell about it. I think I had more gas from the banana I ate.
I'm still not sure that I will eat the others.

I'll bet they are fine, but I wouldn't eat them. /squeamish about unrefrigerated food

At Thanksgiving I ate some deviled eggs that had been left out for several hours and I got sicker than a dog. And was sicker than a dog for close to a week. Of course, they had mayonnaise in them, so that might've been it. But I sure wouldn't eat those eggs. I hope that the one you've already eaten doesn't hurt ya, hon!
