I've been experimenting the past few mornings. I've actually taken the veggies that I had leftover from the night before and used them in my omelets.
The first omelet I added about a cup of broccoli. I whipped my eggs and poured it into my pan. Then I placed the broccoli florettes on half of the egg. Then I sprinkled some shredded cheese on top of this. When it was ready, I flipped half of the egg over top of the broccoli half. I put a little garlic salt on it while it was frying. It was very delicious! :eat:
The second omelet I mixed in chopped spinach to the egg mixture before I poured it into the pan. I sprinkled some cheese into the middle like I did for the broccoli omelet. It came out surprising good, too! I had something similar at Bob Evans one time, so that's where I got the idea for the spinach omelet.
