Here comes the cooking dope. :D

I thought the point of OAMC was that you could freeze a bunch of stuff.

Does this mean that all of these recipes freeze well?

This kid right here would love the Chicken Packets.

Yes Megan. They are all designed to be frozen.

Ok, so ummm...

Let's say one was going to make chicken packets and freeze them. How might one package them in the freezer and how might one warm them up to eat later?

I mean I totally know all the answer to this stuff. I just want to see if Lisa does.

One now sees that there are instructions for some of this, but still not for the frigging chicken packets, which is something one might really be interested in.

Well, I was just thinking about that. The recipe says to freeze the innards and then use the rolls, stuff, and bake.

I was wondering how to bake them all up and then freeze. I am thinking a minute in the microwave and then popping in the toaster might work. Kinda like a lunch toaster strudel.

Yum.

OR! Make them up and don't bake them. Freeze.

Then, pop them out of the freezer, and cook. The inside should get hot I would think.

Yeah, I actually thought of that. How much would you have to increase the cooking time since they're frozen?

I think I need to seriously look into this OAMC stuff. I don't mind cooking, I just don't like cooking and cleaning up all the time.

It would really be a trial thing.

I would probably flip them half way and do maybe 15 and then 10 minutes. Test and if not hot in the middle leave them in longer.

Or, you could defrost in the microwave first.

You do it and let me know, okay?

Reds absolutely right. I do something similar with bean and rice burritos. I just take them out of the freezer, put them on a cookies sheet and bake on 350 for 25-30 mins. If I am using the toaster over, it is more like 30 mins.
