View Full Version : Quiche and Rolls from last night

I tried two new recipes last night and both were very good. The rolls came out awesome and were so simple to make. No needing and very short rise times.

I changed a couple of things in this quiche. I didn't have any half and half so I mixed some 1% and heavy cream. I also used a cup instead of the half cup they called for. Lastly, I thinly sliced some tomatos to lay on top and make it look pretty.

I wonder if you could leave the flour out? There isn't much there.

Mootzee, I think the flour is there to absorb any leftover liquid from the zucchini so... if you grate early, put a little salt on it and squeeze well, I think you can eliminate the flour.

Follow the rolls recipe exactly. Don't second guess yourself. The batter is REALLY sticky. It doesn't look like normal bread dough but it cooked up just fine.

I baked mine for 17 mins

I wondered about that-- I noticed it called for muffin cups -- but I am willing to try
