So Susan and Kirsten, I know you use this. Is the funky protein-y taste at a minimum?

I just hate to buy a big thing of this stuff and go :barf:

Maybe they have little envelopes of it at Whole Foods. We don't have Trader Joe's here.

Any other brands of protein powder that are good?

GNC has Pro Performance 100% Whey Protein Powder in small 1 pound bags. I've used the vanilla and the chocolate. They make good protein shakes without the bad taste.

I have the vanilla and chocolate and haven't noticed any funky tastes with either.

It's the soy stuff that tastes bad, like Kirsten said. :barf:

I bought the Walmart brand and don't notice a funky taste at all.

What do you use it for? Shakes? Is it low in carbs ?

Yep. It's lowcarb but you have to use it with milk or soy milk so that would add the carbs up probably.

I guess I meant for more of the smoothie type things I like.

I add water or flavored diet soda to mine. I've also added tofu before and it hasn't been half bad.
