Do you scrapbook, stamp or do any other crafts?

Found a neat site for talking about scrapbooking! I might register. Every year I say I am going to start stamping again and every year I get lazy.

I'm craft obsessed. Knitting, crocheting, embroidery, painting (I just redid two canvases tonight, for the 3rd time in two months), cake decorating, card making - you name it, I do it.

And do it badly. :D

I haven't officially ventured into scrapbooking b/c I'm scared of the start up cost.

I like stamping better than scrapbooking... I LOVED card making. One Christmas I decided I was going to MAKE all my Christmas cards.















NEVER. AGAIN.


My roomate laughed and laughed at me when I would drag that box out every night and moan about having to make more cards. I need to start in OCTOBER.

Yeah I spent too much on stampin' stuff... but sharing tools is the most fun, anway. Having done it for a while, you'd have a better idea of what is good and what isn't, what you need and what you don't. I bought A LOT of sheer crappola that I'll never use again. Rainbow ink pads??? What as I thinking?

I just couldn't get into scrapbooking, I tried.

I do beading, what I love about it, is all my supplies and tools fit into a small organized bag.

Now my sewing is another story, all that stuff takes up about 25% of my utility room.

I don't do it regularly, but I did make a scrapbook (albeit a crappy one) from the summer when I lived in Rome.

I just started beading about 2 months ago. It's an obsession now and an expensive one at that. I went to a bead show in Toronto and spent almost $200 and don't even know for sure what I am going to make with the stuff. I bought mostly fresh water pearls and have just been getting them out to touch them. I have my first beading class on March 21 and can hardly wait.

I sucked at scrapbooking. Just not enough imagination. I would try to copy other people's pages and get frustrated.

I have an idea for some beadwork that I want to do. I just have to find exactly the right beads to do it. Guess it will be a new hobbie for me. :rolleyes:
