I was thinking...I THINK everyone knows this, but I've been surprised by those who don't. :D

Many yummy things can be made by combining olive oil (no cheap brands, please) garlic, onions, diced chicken and veggies and Italian spices.

Some variations....

Chicken, black olives, garlic and dices tomatoes

Chicken, bell peppers, garlic, onions.

etc.

Then, you toss some shredded parmesan on top. And NO...it can NOT be Kraft! :hammer: Please buy a brick of real parmesan and shred it yourself.

Olive oil and garlic is what I use to cook nearly every meat. Sometimes even when I grill, I will brush on olive oil and sprinkle on garlic powder. :eat:

I figured you guys knew....it's just that sometimes I cook for friends and they think I'm a gourmet chef or something and I get confused. :p I do have an Italian flare because I learned to cook from Josh's family.

Olive oil, garlic, Greek spices & lemon is my favorite marinade.

Lemon  The greek version of vinegar. I think I like it even better.

Giada what'shername has a chicken marinade with these ingredients and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! :swoon: I confess that the combination never occurred to me until I saw it on her show.
